Wireless Logic gets authorised reseller status for SpaceX's Starlink
Mon, 22nd Apr 2024

Wireless Logic, a global IoT connectivity platform provider, has recently been accorded the authorised reseller status for SpaceX's Starlink. This acquisition plugs Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity into Wireless Logic's expansive range of managed services, yielding increased flexibility and options for global IoT deployments.

According to Oliver Tucker, CEO of Wireless Logic, the combined power of cellular and satellite connection delivers the finest of both technological worlds. He stated, "This milestone agreement underlines our commitment to innovation. While cellular remains a cornerstone for many applications, the addition of satellite connectivity is a game-changer – especially in challenging cross-border environments and areas of weak coverage. At Wireless Logic, we believe in carefully considering all aspects of connectivity to offer the most suitable option for each deployment. For our customers, this ensures our solutions are always tailored to their business objectives."

With the capacity to deliver an integrated, managed service harmonising both LEO technology and LTE/5G, Wireless Logic will utilise the worldwide support capability of its subsidiary Blue Wireless. This will be complemented by data plans, installation services and on-site support in over 70 countries globally. Strengthened with guaranteed SLAs on uptime and speed, the move complements its acquisition of Blue Wireless in 2023, aiming to bolster its footprint in the APAC and Americas while augmenting its fixed wireless access offerings.

Ivan Landen, CEO at Blue Wireless, commented, "Our customers rely on us to bridge connectivity gaps, no matter how remote or demanding their operations may be. By harnessing the combined strength of 5G/LTE and satellite technologies, we can deliver a unique proposition for industries like energy, agriculture, mining, construction and maritime. This extends to other organisations needing resilient branch, portable or mobile connectivity. Our Global Managed LEO proposition helps global customers overcome typical challenges like procurement, installation, support and in-life performance."

Starlink by SpaceX offers high-speed, low-latency internet to users across the globe. Reported to have the world's largest and most advanced satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit, Starlink affords broadband internet competently supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more. The system is designed and managed by SpaceX.

Blue Wireless was established in Singapore in 2015 and is the pioneering global service provider for wireless connectivity solutions. The company delivers ultra-reliable and adaptable connectivity solutions, especially in locations where conventional networks falter, such as branches, stores, remote locations, IoT, and the maritime sector. It has teamed the most recent LTE/5G technologies with its expertise and hands-on team in over 80 countries worldwide. It was absorbed into the Wireless Logic Group in 2023.
