Superloop has launched Kay, an AI account assistant for business customers, partners and managed service resellers. The tool is built into the company's Krypton self-service platform.

Kay lets users manage connectivity services through a conversational interface instead of navigating multiple screens or contacting support. It can check broadband availability, create quotes, locate orders, run network diagnostics, manage services, raise and update support tickets, help with technician appointments and manage account users.

The launch expands Superloop's use of AI assistants in customer-facing operations. Kay joins two existing assistants, Teddy and Mo, as the company adds more automated tools across the business.

Krypton is Superloop's central portal for business and wholesale users to quote, order, troubleshoot and manage services. Kay operates within that system according to each user's existing access permissions, while customers retain control over actions such as reviewing quotes and selecting options before submitting an order.

The aim is to reduce the time partners spend on routine administration and support work. Superloop is targeting users that need to move quickly from checking service options to handling faults and account issues within one system.

Partner focus

The product is aimed at Superloop's business and wholesale channel, including managed service resellers that use its network and connectivity products. Those partners already use Krypton to manage Superloop services from a single location, and Kay adds a conversational layer to those workflows.

The assistant is positioned as more than a basic information tool. Rather than only answering questions, it can trigger workflows and complete operational tasks inside the platform.

Daisey Stampfer outlined the rationale for the launch in remarks accompanying the announcement.

"Our Partner Program is all about making it easier for our partners to grow. We're listening to what they need and continuing to invest in the products, tools and support that help them move faster," said Daisey Stampfer, Group Executive, Business & Wholesale, Superloop.

"Kay is another step forward - bringing smarter, simpler support into Krypton so partners can spend less time on admin and more time growing their business," Stampfer said.

Wider AI use

Superloop described Kay as part of a broader effort to embed AI into operational tools used by customers and partners. Teddy already links conversations with customer support actions, and Kay follows the same model by combining responses with account and service tasks.

The assistant is available around the clock within Krypton through a "Talk to Kay" button. Superloop said it will continue to learn as new knowledge and functions are added in response to user feedback.

The move reflects a broader push among telecoms and connectivity providers to simplify account management for channel partners and business users, particularly where quoting, ordering, fault handling and service changes often sit across separate screens or support queues. By bringing those actions into a single conversational interface, providers are seeking to reduce friction in routine account work while keeping formal approval steps in place for commercial transactions.

For Superloop, the launch also underlines the strategic importance of its partner and wholesale base. The company supplies connectivity and related services across consumer, business and wholesale markets, and has been building software platforms alongside its physical network assets, including fibre, subsea cables and fixed wireless infrastructure.

Its partner program centres on access to network, connectivity, cyber and security products through the Krypton portal. Kay now becomes part of that offering, designed to help users find information and complete day-to-day service tasks in the same environment.

Users remain responsible for final checks on key actions such as reviewing quotes and choosing relevant order options before submission.

Kay is now live in Krypton for eligible users.
