SenSen brings centimetre-level location accuracy to smart cities

Tue, 18th Nov 2025

SenSen is partnering with Point One Navigation to introduce centimetre-level location accuracy to its smart city product portfolio. The move targets a wide range of city management functions, including curbside enforcement and the prevention of fuel theft, by integrating Point One Navigation's Polaris RTK network.

Enhanced accuracy

The solution aims to address the persistent challenge of GPS precision in dense urban areas, where tall buildings and infrastructure often result in unreliable positional data. By deploying the Polaris RTK technology, SenSen will deliver its clients highly precise location insights. This technology is intended to improve city operations that rely on real-time spatial data, supporting applications in transport compliance and public safety.

Urban operations

Point One Navigation's network includes thousands of monitored base stations worldwide. These base stations are installed to survey-grade standards and use industrial-grade hardware. With this partnership, SenSen customers are expected to receive reliable centimetre-level accuracy for decision-critical urban tasks.

SenSen's suite of products processes data for city asset management, intelligent vision agents, and live curb awareness. By integrating Polaris RTK corrections, the company says it can now provide a level of accuracy that augments the value and trust cities and enterprises place in collected data.

Industry perspectives

"Precision is the foundation of intelligent city management. Without accurate positioning, the data collected from our systems loses its full value for critical decision-making," said Aaron Nathan, CEO, Point One Navigation. "Our partnership with SenSen demonstrates how Polaris RTK's centimeter-level accuracy and 99.9% uptime can empower smarter, safer, and more efficient urban environments. These users rely on absolute precision, and our positioning platform ensures they can trust their data completely."

Duc Vo, Chief Technology Officer at SenSen, said the partnership supports the company's strategy to expand the reach of advanced positioning services: "Our goal is to make advanced technology and high-accuracy data accessible to all. Partnering with Point One Navigation has enabled us to deliver a seamless experience with zero setup or configuration. As we continue to expand our AI-driven solutions, Point One's RTK corrections will empower more cities and businesses to operate with complete confidence in their spatial data."

Broader applications

The collaboration has been announced amidst sustained demand for improved accuracy in sectors such as smart city administration, asset tracking, and public safety. SenSen states the solution will be suitable for organisations that require location-based data for both compliance and operational efficiency.
