Thu, 16th May 2024

In a significant new corporate partnership, pan-Asia cloud infrastructure network platform Lightstorm has teamed up with Console Connect, a principal Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider. The collaboration will enable smooth, worldwide connectivity to the cloud and IT resources through more than 180 data centres across India, Indonesia, the US, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and other markets. By using API orchestration, Lightstorm will incorporate its NaaS offering Polarin with Console Connect's NaaS solution, delivering secure, instantaneous connectivity for businesses globally.

The two companies will work together to offer seemless cloud and network connectivity to multinational enterprises with over 180+ data centres. To achieve this, Lightstorm is assimilating its NaaS platform, Polarin, with Console Connect's NaaS platform via API orchestration.

This collaboration means easy connection to a vast assortment of data centres and global IT resources. Through a network interconnection in Singapore, the unified global network fabric will smoothly interconnect data centres across multiple developed and emerging markets. This guarantees that businesses will have secure, on-demand connectivity through an integrated platform.

Troublesome network connectivity, handling multiple vendors and a disjointed user experience have been vital issues that businesses have faced in the past. However, Lightstorm seeks to eradicate these challenges as part of its vision and its association with Console Connect.

The integration of Polarin by Lightstorm with Console Connect creates a single platform for every connectivity demand, promising improved reliability, high availability, and redundancy measures. These ensure customer applications can operate without interruption. Additionally, Lightstorm's SDN network reach guarantees low latency and high-performance connections to resources worldwide, optimizing application functionality.

Amajit Gupta, Group CEO & MD of Lightstorm, expressed his excitement for this joint venture, stating, "We are thrilled to collaborate with Console Connect, unlocking unparalleled cloud and network connectivity for our customers. Beyond expanding our service portfolio, this collaboration opens doors to mutual growth opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers and the market."

Furthering Gupta's sentiment, Marc Halbfinger, CEO of Console Connect, added, "The interaction with Polarin by Lightstorm, will help more businesses accelerate their cloud journey through secure, agile and high-performance connectivity. We look forward to growing our collaboration further with Lightstorm."

This strategic association offers a platform for businesses to connect directly with over 180 data centres and Lightstorm's high-availability network. This will ultimately improve application performance and uptime, providing secure and reliable connectivity solutions. Lightstorm's pay-as-you-go pricing model will also allow businesses to maximize their network spend and scale effortlessly.
