Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has been declared a winner in the Best Use of Telephony / Unified Communications in Cloud Computing category at the 2024/25 Cloud Awards.

The Cloud Awards, one of the longest-standing platforms in cloud computing recognition, acknowledges recent notable accomplishments and advancements in the field.

The awards program evaluates a diverse range of submissions from different sectors across the globe, including entries from regions such as the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific area.

This year's Cloud Awards encompassed 36 categories, focusing on various aspects of cloud computing, from overall excellence in innovation and disruption, to specific work involving projects, migrations or integrations. The categories also address workplace excellence, like consultancy and commendations for 'green' credentials, alongside technology areas such as SaaS and IoT.

James Williams, CEO of The Cloud Awards, stated, "We're very proud to announce the winners of the 2024/25 Cloud Awards."

"With such a strong field of finalists, our judges have had an enviable and rewarding task in selecting the winners – those announced today have demonstrated an exceptional level of ingenuity and commitment to their craft. Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's placement as a winner is richly deserved and we're delighted to recognize them through this award."

"We look forward with great anticipation to seeing how they build on this success in the months and years to come. Many congratulations from myself, and The Cloud Awards team."

The Cloud Awards program will continue to recognize excellence next year, with new submissions welcomed in Autumn 2025. This ongoing endeavour seeks to champion achievements within the cloud computing domain, ensuring that both emerging and established players obtain recognition for their contributions.

Furthermore, the FinTech Awards and Cloud Security Awards are currently accepting nominations.

These awards focus respectively on advancements in financial technologies and cybersecurity, with upcoming deadlines for entries scheduled later in the year.
