TCF chief appointed

Vodafone's Head of Industry Affairs David Stone has been appointed Chief Executive of the Telecommunications Carriers Forum.

Stone has been a TCF board member representing Vodafone for the past two years. He has more than a decade in telecommunications, with a previous role at CLEAR Communications.

He will take up the new role in November.

TCF Chair Richard Westlake says the organisation will benefit from having a recognised industry specialist at the helm.
