Snom has launched the Snom A350D Bluetooth Headset, extending its workplace headset portfolio with a new model designed specifically for professionals who rely heavily on voice communication throughout the working day.

The binaural headset is aimed at environments where clear and uninterrupted communication is essential, including call centres, customer service operations, sales departments, reception desks, helpdesks and open-plan office settings.

As hybrid and flexible work models continue to evolve, businesses are placing increasing emphasis on communication tools that can support productivity while minimising background distractions and listener fatigue.

Designed to improve call quality in busy workspaces, the A350D focuses on both incoming and outgoing speech clarity. The headset is intended to help users hear callers more clearly while also ensuring their own voice is transmitted with greater accuracy in noisy environments.

This can be particularly beneficial for teams handling high volumes of customer interactions, virtual meetings or time-sensitive support requests where miscommunication can impact workflow and customer experience.

Featuring a binaural design with dual earpads for enhanced sound isolation, the headset is built for prolonged use across extended work sessions. The dual-ear configuration helps reduce ambient office noise, allowing users to remain focused even in crowded or high-activity environments. The ergonomic construction is also intended to support comfort during continuous daily wear, which is increasingly important for professionals spending hours on calls or video conferences.

Snom says the A350D has been developed to accommodate both fixed desk setups and more mobile working arrangements. As organisations continue adapting to hybrid work practices, employees are frequently moving between home offices, shared workspaces and traditional office environments.

The wireless Bluetooth connectivity is designed to provide users with greater flexibility and freedom of movement while maintaining stable communication performance.

The launch further expands Snom's growing range of workplace communication accessories and reflects ongoing demand for enterprise audio devices that combine mobility, comfort and high-quality voice performance for modern professional environments.

Audio focus

Snom has positioned the product around voice communication rather than general audio listening. The headset includes two microphones with Qualcomm cVc noise reduction, digital signal processing based on a 120 MHz Kalimba DSP, and the aptX Voice Bluetooth codec to support speech transmission.

These features are intended to reduce background noise during calls and maintain more natural voice quality when conditions are less predictable. The headset also includes a user-status indicator light and multipoint Bluetooth, allowing connection to more than one device at the same time.

The launch adds to a broader headset line-up that already includes professional DECT models. Snom has also adjusted the positioning of its headset portfolio as part of a wider effort to offer a more joined-up communications product range for business customers.

That approach reflects long-standing demand in office communications for accessories that work across different locations and device setups, especially as organisations continue to support a mix of desk-based, shared-space and mobile working patterns. In that context, headset makers have placed greater emphasis on microphone performance, background-noise handling and comfort over long shifts.

Snom said it is keeping pricing competitive across the range, though it did not disclose a price for the A350D. The headset is available through specialist outlets and comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.

Felix Glowatzka outlined the rationale behind the launch.

"The decisive factor in professional communication is not how well users can hear, but rather how clearly they can be understood. With the A350D series, we are focusing on this aspect, developing solutions that measurably improve the quality of conversations in everyday working environments," said Felix Glowatzka, Product Manager at Snom.
