Access4 & efex solidify partnership with unified communications suite
Wed, 6th Mar 2024

Access4, a leading provider of voice and Unified Communication-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solutions, has announced an exclusive partnership with IT services provider efex. The collaboration solidifies Access4 as the voice backbone for efex's rebranded and expanded efex Comms, a suite of affordable, cloud-based B2B communication solutions.

efex received the distinction of Access4’s Australian Partner of the Year in the previous year. This new product-based collaboration will further enhance the relationship between the two companies, offering efex the opportunity to diversify its business and expand its digitally managed services for its customers.

The new suite of efex Comms, powered by Access4 voice functionality, features products tailored for different business needs. Core offerings include efex Comms, designed for SMBs, and Comms Xpress, a cost-efficient solution for businesses with lesser phone usage that operates on a pay-per-line rather than per-user basis. There's also Comms Teams, a flexible and scalable offering for Microsoft 365 application users.

Nick Sheehan, Founder and CEO of efex, asserted that this partnership elevates the customer experience with ongoing new feature functionality, stating, “Every efex customer is unique and with efex Comms we can give businesses exactly what they need when they need it with the scalability and affordability underpinned by Access4." He added that a customer-first approach, coupled with local support, marks a refreshing change in the telecom industry.

efex and Access4's partnership dates back to 2020. Over the years, efex has risen to become one of the few Access4 Diamond++ partners, the highest tier of Access4 partnership, in Australia. These ties have re-emphasised Sheehan's decision to deploy Access4 exclusively for voice communications and collaboration, praising its stability, functionality, ease of deployment, and affordability.

Both companies have robust infrastructures. efex operates from 20 offices across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, with around 6,700 clients. Conversely, Access4 collaborates with over 400 partners countrywide.

Peter Eldon, Director of Sales and Marketing at Access4, believes that the partnership supports both companies' growth and customer retention strategies, stating, "Efex has built a heritage of technical expertise to support SMEs and their comms business is now another services line which reinforces their overall digital services offering." Eldon also highlighted the firms' focus on tailoring IT&T solutions to match individual customer needs in a cloud computing environment. Looking ahead, he sees "massive growth potential" and anticipates launching new solutions together in the coming years.
