LEA Professional unveils Connect Series Half-Rack amplifiers

LEA Professional has introduced its latest offering, the Connect Series Half-Rack amplifiers. These amplifiers are designed for small—to medium-scale installations and feature compact and smart solutions. They were highlighted by winning the Best of Show award at ISE 2024 and are notable for their onboard digital signal processor (DSP), WebUI, cloud connectivity, and multiple network connection options, including Wi-Fi and Ethernet.

The new line-up includes models CS34, CS64, CS124, CS34D, CS64D, and CS124D. Each model is equipped with fully routable analogue inputs and four amplifier channels with selectable low-Z, 70V, or 100V by channel. Models designated with a "D" also come with Dante and AES67 connectivity options. The models support three different types of network connections: using a built-in Wi-Fi access point, connecting to an existing Wi-Fi network, or through a Local Area Network Ethernet connection.

The launch of the half-rack models adds to LEA Professionals' extensive technology catalogue. The range aims to cater to the growing demand from commercial, corporate, marine, and residential integrators for compact and space-saving amplifier solutions. According to Brian Pickowitz, vice president of marketing at LEA Professional, "With the significant adoption rate of Connect Series amplifiers, commercial, corporate, marine, and residential integrators wanted a product that delivered the same punch, while taking up less space. Our half-rack solutions can be installed anywhere and are perfectly suited for small to medium-scale installations."

The Connect Series Half-Rack amplifiers are promoted as delivering one of the most feature-rich experiences in the industry. They include advanced power management, industry-leading DSP, and comprehensive IT solutions, positioning themselves as a versatile choice for a variety of audio applications. These amplifiers also facilitate third-party application programming interface (API) control, adding an additional layer of integration and control for users.
