Infobip named Frost CPaaS growth & innovation leader

Wed, 14th Jan 2026

Infobip has been named a growth and innovation leader in the Frost Radar: Communications Platform as a Service report from Frost & Sullivan.

The analyst firm assessed suppliers on innovation excellence, customer impact and market leadership. It highlighted Infobip's approach to cross-channel customer communications from a single platform, along with investment in conversational AI and other product areas.

Frost & Sullivan said Infobip "stands out by enabling complex, cross-channel customer journey orchestration from one platform". The company said its product stack includes "GenAI-powered chatbots, journey automation, and real-time personalization."

Platform scope

Frost & Sullivan's evaluation cited Infobip's expansion into conversational AI, identity verification and contact centre solutions. It described these areas as responses to increased complexity in customer communications across channels.

The report also pointed to Infobip's global connectivity. The company said it can reach more than seven billion mobile devices across six continents and operates through "10k+ connections" with "800+" direct operator connections.

Infobip positions its CPaaS products around business messaging and digital engagement. The company sells tools across messaging channels and identity products, plus customer support and contact centre offerings.

Network APIs

Frost & Sullivan also highlighted Infobip's work on network application programming interfaces. The company said its network API products include "SIM swap detection, number verification, and device location". It linked these functions to fraud prevention, authentication and customer communications.

The analyst firm also cited another Frost & Sullivan recognition related to that product area. Infobip received Frost & Sullivan's 2025 Customer Value Leadership Recognition for its "overall excellence in the network API industry", according to the company.

Operator angle

Infobip also targets telecom operators that want to build or extend CPaaS revenue streams. The company said it combines its "SMS Messaging Hub and RCS Messaging as a Platform" with relationships across mobile network operators and developers.

Frost & Sullivan said this integrated approach, alongside strategic partnerships, makes Infobip "a preferred choice for pioneering network API solutions", according to the company's statement.

Infobip competes in a crowded CPaaS market that includes suppliers focused on messaging, voice and authentication, as well as firms that sell customer engagement software and contact centre products. Many suppliers now market AI features across chat, agent assistance and automation as they seek to differentiate their platforms.

Executive reaction

"This recognition from Frost & Sullivan validates our vision of building a single platform that simplifies customer communications for businesses worldwide," said Krešo Žmak, Chief Innovation Officer, Infobip.

"Our growth comes from listening to what the market needs and building reliable, innovative solutions that help brands connect with their customers in meaningful ways, on every channel," said Žmak.

Frost & Sullivan's Connected Work practice covers collaboration, customer engagement and communications technologies. The firm's Radar reports rank suppliers against a set of criteria and position them on a two-axis chart that tracks innovation and growth.

"Infobip has distinguished itself as a frontrunner in the CPaaS market, building on its deep expertise and market-leading technological solutions, as well as extensive relationships with communication service providers. With a focus on fostering trusted, interactive, omnichannel interactions, Infobip continues to shape the landscape of digital communications," said Popova.

Infobip, founded in 2006, is led by CEO Silvio Kutić and co-founder Izabel Jelenić. The company operates a cloud communications platform and sells omnichannel engagement, identity, user authentication and contact centre products through a single platform, according to its description.

The company has also appeared in other industry analyst and ranking reports across CPaaS, conversational AI and messaging fraud prevention categories. It said it was named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for CPaaS for the third consecutive year and ranked as a leader in Omdia's CPaaS Universe Report, among other recognitions.

Infobip said it will continue building products across messaging, identity and network APIs as businesses and telecom operators expand the use of automated and multi-channel communications.
