Epos launches Adapt E1 with AI-enhanced ear fit technology

Yesterday

EPOS has unveiled the ADAPT E1, a true wireless earbud designed to provide comfort and high audio performance for both professional and personal use.

Designed to blend seamlessly into various aspects of the user's daily life, the ADAPT E1 caters to different activities, from business meetings to physical exercise and travelling. This device aims to provide a comprehensive solution for diverse auditory needs in one product.

The ADAPT E1 incorporates several significant features. One of its selling points is comfort, which EPOS asserts is so optimal that users might forget they are wearing the earbuds. This has been achieved through EPOS IntelligentFit technology, developed from a database of over 500,000 ear scans to provide superior acoustic performance and tailored comfort.

Jesper Kock, VP Research & Development at EPOS, explained the development approach. "The ADAPT E1, EPOS's first UC certified true wireless earbud, has been carefully crafted to meet the expectations of both the modern professional, but also your normal earbud consumer. An element that I am especially proud of is our new EPOS IntelligentFit. We know that every ear shape and size is unique, which is why we have created EPOS IntelligentFit. An ear fit analysis tool that predicts an optimal earbud shape based on AI and a database of over half a million ear scans. This is why you can wear your ADAPT E1 comfortably throughout the day."

The ADAPT E1 is certified for professional use, with features such as UC certifications, multi-point connectivity, and device management capabilities, enabling users to switch effortlessly between a phone, PC, or tablet. This adaptability boosts productivity across devices.

The earbuds promise an exceptional music listening experience, with sound quality likened to that of a traditional headset. The focus is on delivering rich and detailed sound.

The technology behind ADAPT E1 also includes hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), semi-open acoustics, and advanced algorithms, which facilitate natural feeling conversations and concentration without the sensation of blocked ears.

The earbuds come with a notable 50-hour battery life, paired with wireless charging capability, designed to ensure continuous productivity without interruption.

In summary, Kock expressed pride in introducing the ADAPT E1, stating, "We are proud to introduce The ADAPT E1. A testament to EPOS' commitment to designing products that excite, while pioneering audio technology and paying attention for performance and craftsmanship."

The ADAPT E1 is available for purchase, with a manufacturer's suggested retail price starting at EUR €199, USD $219, and GBP £175.
