Aussie Broadband named Fortinet Australia Partner 2025

Tue, 10th Feb 2026

Fortinet has named Aussie Broadband its Australia Partner of the Year for 2025, recognising a group of channel partners across enterprise, government, managed services and specialist security categories.

The Australia Partner of the Year Awards form part of Fortinet's local partner program and recognise revenue growth, training and certifications, and joint customer work. Criteria also include innovation in partner services and solution delivery.

Alongside the top award, Aussie Broadband also won Fortinet's Australia Telco Partner of the Year.

Category winners

DXC won Australia Enterprise Partner of the Year. Telstra was named Australia Government Partner of the Year, and CyberCX took out Australia Growth Partner of the Year.

Centorrino Technologies won Managed Security Services Provider of the Year. Operational Intelligence was named Operational Technology Partner of the Year, and Brennan won Security Operations Partner of the Year.

Wavelink was named Australia Distributor of the Year, while Ethan Global won SASE Partner of the Year.

The categories reflect the mix of services and routes to market in cybersecurity, where partners handle sales, deployment, integration and ongoing monitoring. Several also align with areas that have drawn increased focus in recent years, including security operations, managed services and securing operational technology environments.

Partner program

Fortinet linked the awards to its Engage Partner Program, which it positions as its main framework for partner support, training and commercial engagement. It provides enablement tools through the program and uses it as a channel for ongoing support.

Fortinet pointed to flexible work models, hybrid IT environments and a more complex threat landscape as factors shaping customer requirements. These conditions have increased demand for services that combine security controls with operational oversight, including managed security services and security operations functions.

Fortinet's local channel leadership said the winners demonstrated performance and commitment across the partner ecosystem.

"Our Australia Partner of the Year Award winners exemplify the strength, innovation, and commitment that define the Fortinet partner community. These partners have demonstrated outstanding performance in helping customers address today's rapidly changing security landscape. Fortinet is proud to recognise their achievements and looks forward to continuing to work closely together to support customer success and accelerate growth across the Australian market in 2026. Fortinet remains committed to equipping partners with the training and tools they need to continue delivering exceptional outcomes," said John Milionis, Director, Channel and Distribution, Australia, Fortinet.

Fortinet sells a broad portfolio of cybersecurity products and services spanning networking and security. It also runs training through the Fortinet Training Institute and has a research and threat intelligence unit, FortiGuard Labs.

The awards come as organisations in Australia continue to review cyber risk and supplier choices. Large enterprises and government agencies often procure security services via prime contractors and telecommunications providers, while mid-sized organisations rely more heavily on managed service providers and specialist consultancies. Distributors also remain central to the market, particularly for partners that need logistics support and access to vendor programs.

For winning partners, the awards provide public recognition from a major supplier and may strengthen their positioning in competitive bids. For Fortinet, the list signals which partners have traction across key segments such as enterprise, government, telco and managed services.

Fortinet expects to continue working with partners across the Australian market through 2026.
