Virtualplatform unveils white-label app for ISPs & partners
Virtualplatform has launched a white-label mobile app for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and channel partners to manage the full customer lifecycle from mobile devices.
The new app extends Virtualplatform's service management capabilities to a mobile-first format, enabling ISPs and their partners to deliver a branded, integrated experience directly to end-users. With this launch, ISPs gain mobile tools for onboarding new customers, managing services, and handling billing functions, all under their own brand identity.
The app lets ISPs sign up new users within minutes, add services instantly, and give customers control over the various stages of their service journey - from provisioning and diagnostics to managing payments and billing - via a single mobile application. Virtualplatform maintains that this aligns with growing demand for digital self-service and rapid fulfilment in the telecommunications sector.
"This app puts the full power of Virtualplatform directly into the hands of our partners and their customers. It's about speed to market, reducing support overhead, and delivering genuine self-service tools that improve customer engagement and retention," said Stuart Wallis, Co-Founder of Virtualplatform.
In addition to supporting direct ISP-to-customer interfaces, the application is intended for wider use in B2B2C models. Businesses such as utilities, banks, insurers, and wholesalers can deploy the app under their own brand to provide value-added internet service options.
The app is also structured to support multi-tier channel relationships, which means distributors and wholesalers can enable their downstream resellers and sub-agents to deliver branded experiences to end customers. This approach aims to create uniform service delivery across the supply chain, accelerate customer onboarding, and reduce the time to generate revenue, all without separate technology investments at each level.
Service management features
The Virtualplatform mobile app offers a range of automation features for service providers and end-users. New customer onboarding can be completed in minutes, aided by automated qualification and order processing built into the app. Customers gain access to real-time service status updates, the ability to initiate provisioning or diagnostics, and full billing control, including invoice viewing and payment management.
The software supports multiple service types and is compatible with third-party providers, including nbn and Opticomm Retail Service Providers, as well as other alternative network providers. It is designed to be fully customisable for branding and can be deployed rapidly by ISPs and distributors.
Customisation through development programme
To address the unique requirements of service providers and their channel partners, the app can be further adapted through Virtualplatform's 1Platform development programme. This initiative allows organisations to request additional system integrations, custom workflows, or enhanced branding components. This aims to support differentiated offerings and help partners align the app more closely with their go-to-market strategies.
Mission and efficiency
Virtualplatform said this launch is consistent with its mission to simplify operations for service providers by automating core tasks and integrating disparate functions. The mobile app extends the company's single interface approach, enabling ISPs and their partners to operate on a larger scale with lower overheads and reduced manual processing.
"We know that service providers are under constant pressure to deliver more value with fewer resources. By putting the full lifecycle of service management into a white-label mobile app, we're helping our partners meet customer expectations for immediacy, transparency, and control - all while reducing their operational burden," added Piers Tyler, Co-Founder of Virtualplatform.
Virtualplatform confirmed that the mobile app is available for immediate deployment and can be branded for individual organisations for quicker route-to-market and differentiation in the market.
