Segway-Ninebot launches e-Motorbike range in Australia

Segway-Ninebot has unveiled its e-Motorbike range in Australia, introducing three models: the flagship E300SE, the E125S, and the E110S.

This new range aims to ease the transition to electric motorbikes, leveraging smart connectivity with Segway-Ninebot app integration, advanced motor design, and safety features along with a Smart Battery Management system. The company states that these motorbikes provide a high-quality, high-tech, eco-friendly, and economical commuting solution.

The E300SE model promises a comfortable riding experience for urban commuters. Equipped with a 10kW power motor, it can reach a maximum speed of 105km/h, accelerating from 0 to 50km/h in 2.9 seconds and offers a range of 130km. It comes with two 2000WH removable batteries and can support an additional third battery to extend the range by up to 50%.

Charging time is 4.5 hours to 80% and 5.5 hours to 100%. The E300SE includes RideyGo smart functions, enabling riders to remotely turn the bike on and off, lock and unlock it, track and analyse vehicle performance through the Segway-Ninebot app.

Safety features include dual-channel ABS and EABS (Electronic Assisted Braking System), along with cruise control, hill hold control slope park, assist pushing, and one-touch reverse functionalities.

The E125S and E110S models are tailored for urban explorers. The E125S features dual removable batteries, a 3.5kW power motor, reaching a maximum speed of 45km/h and a range of 108km.

Charging time for the E125S is 2.4 hours to 80% and 4 hours to 100%. The E110S, equipped with a single removable battery, has a 1.8kW power motor and offers a range of 57km. Charging time for the E110S is 3 hours to 80% and 4 hours to 100%. Both models come with extra-large extended seat cushions suitable for two riders and a large storage seat bucket.

They also incorporate dual-channel braking combined with EABS, and smart connectivity features accessed through the Segway-Ninebot app, which includes real-time information such as GPS positioning, range tracking, and Airlock, eliminating the need for a physical key to start the bike.

All three models are now available for test rides and pre-orders, with deliveries expected in August. The introductory price for the flagship E300SE is AUD $8,990, for the E125S is AUD $6,990, and for the E110S is AUD $4,990. All prices include on-road costs and the bikes are learner and provisional rider-approved.

These e-Motorbikes can be tested at various dealer locations across Australia, including Cyclecraft in Bondi, Scooteria in Stanmore, Scooter Central in Brookvale, and MotoCity in Wollongong, among others. The launch signifies Segway-Ninebot's commitment to enhancing urban transportation with eco-friendly alternatives.
