Pivotel completes strategic acquisition of VoiceHub from Swoop

Pivotel has announced the completion of its acquisition of wholesale voice and messaging specialists, VoiceHub, from Swoop. The transaction encompasses three subsidiaries: Voicehub Group, Voicehub, and Harbourtel.

The strategic acquisition highlights Pivotel’s aim to bolster its wholesale division. By incorporating VoiceHub’s advanced voice, messaging, and number management capabilities, Pivotel plans to enhance its existing service offerings. This move is expected to diversify Pivotel’s range of services, including fixed and mobile voice origination and termination, messaging services, and connectivity options featuring virtual numbers.

Pivotel is an Australian telecommunications company established in 2003, providing a wide range of communication solutions, including satellite and mobile voice and data services. Known for its innovative approach, Pivotel delivers reliable and secure communication, especially in remote and underserved areas. The company partners with major satellite networks like Iridium, Inmarsat, Thuraya, and Globalstar to offer global connectivity solutions, serving industries such as maritime, aviation, emergency services, mining, and agriculture. With its own licensed mobile network, Pivotel emphasises customer service and support, and the recent acquisition of VoiceHub aims to expand its wholesale division and enhance its voice and messaging services in Australia and New Zealand.
