More and Tangerine expand 5G mobile broadband offerings
Wed, 5th Jul 2023

More and Tangerine, two of Australia's growing telcos, launch their newest 100GB and 200GB 5G mobile broadband plans.

Offered in addition to the existing 400GB plan launched earlier this year, Tangerine's 100GB plan is $29.90 for new customers for the first six months, rising to $34.90 ongoing.

Its 200GB plan is also priced competitively at $44.90 for new customers for the first six months, then $49.90 for ongoing.

Eligible CommBank customers can leverage the bank's strategic relationship with More by receiving an exclusive discount of 30% on More mobile broadband plans for the first 12 months, followed by 10% off ongoing if they sign-up and continue to pay with a CommBank debit or credit card.

This offer reduces the monthly plan cost to $28.00 for the 100GB and $38.50 for the 200GB plans for the first 12 months.

Andrew Branson, CEO of Tangerine and More, says: "as demand for high-speed mobile internet access continues to grow, we remain committed to finding new ways to continually cater to our customer's evolving needs."

"The introduction of our 100GB and 200GB 5G mobile broadband packages will enable our users to seamlessly stream HD videos, game, collaborate on virtual platforms and download large files on a data package that best suits their requirements."

"We recognise flexibility and reliability are important when selecting an internet package."

"That's why all of our 5G mobile broadband plans are no lock in contract, include 7-day tech support and offer customers great reach with our mobile coverage area covering more than 98% of Australian's on 4G and 5G."

"For eligible CommBank customers, the More 5G mobile broadband plans are some of the most competitive on the market."

"These customers can receive 30% off the RRP for the first 12 months and then 10% off ongoing."

"If you're a CommBank customer who loves to travel and wants reliable and fast internet on the go, sign up to More," says Mr Andrew Branson.

5G mobile broadband can be set up with any compatible smart device. Customers can insert the SIM into a compatible device such as a laptop, tablet or portable modem and follow the device instructions.

Customers also have the option to purchase an Inseego M2000 5G Mobile Hotspot for $599. Providing all-day battery life, this hotspot allows 30 devices to be connected and is designed to cater to those travelling and on the road.

More and Tangerine use parts of Telstra's 5G, 4G and 3G mobile networks.

According to the companies, the service provides 5G Coverage reaching at least 75% of the Australian population. The Telstra Wholesale mobile coverage area footprint reaches more than 98.8% of the Australian population and covers more than 1.6 million square kilometres of the Australian landmass.
