Hornetsecurity launches DMARC Manager to enhance email security

Hornetsecurity has announced the launch of DMARC Manager, aimed at simplifying the management of email security protocols DMARC, DKIM, and SPF, particularly for organisations with multiple domains.

The company, which specialises in cybersecurity solutions, aims to provide a user-friendly tool to assist administrators and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) in implementing more robust email authentication practices. This comes in response to increasing threats from fraudulent activities and impersonation attacks in email communications.

DMARC Manager seeks to simplify the process of adding and managing DNS entries associated with DMARC, SPF, and DKIM policies. It allows for all subsequent DNS entries to be handled directly within the product, negating the need for frequent manual updates to DNS records.

Additionally, the tool provides users with advanced reporting and analytics capabilities. Administrators gain access to detailed analyses and aggregated data from DMARC reports, which can enhance the management of outbound email traffic.

The tool includes features designed to detect and prevent fraud, impersonation, and phishing attacks. It offers increased visibility and control over sources sending emails on behalf of the domain, enabling administrators to identify unauthorised email traffic and mitigate potential security risks.

To reinforce brand protection, DMARC Manager supports Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI). This allows organisations to display their brand logos in email messages, enhancing brand visibility and trustworthiness, and potentially improving the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns.
