Lumenir launches new site to boost SIEM-as-a-Service in Australia

Today

Lumenir Cybersecurity has introduced a new website as part of its efforts to expand its footprint in the Australian SIEM-as-a-Service sector.

The company delivers a fully managed security information and event management (SIEM) platform, focusing on real-time threat detection, regulatory compliance, and the assurance of data sovereignty. Its model incorporates a virtual Security Operations Centre (vSOC), which utilises both automation and round-the-clock local analyst response to offer scalable security solutions for organisations of varying sizes.

Traditional Security Operations Centres (SOCs) have historically required significant investments in both personnel and infrastructure, often placing them beyond the reach of mid-sized entities. Lumenir's approach with vSOC aims to address this disparity by delivering real-time incident triage, escalation, and remediation support without necessitating extensive in-house resources.

Mike Adamson, General Manager at Lumenir, highlighted the company's mission.

"Security shouldn't be a luxury only large enterprises can afford. Our vSOC brings the power of expert-led threat response to organisations of any size. By combining automation with human insight, we're creating a scalable, cost-efficient model that allows teams to respond faster and with more confidence."

Lumenir's platform is currently utilised in sectors such as education, healthcare, critical infrastructure, mining, and government. The company reports that, to date, none of its monitored clients have experienced a successful breach. Its system is designed for deployment in environments where operational speed, visibility, and data control are considered essential.

Key features of the service include comprehensive data collection across both IT and OT systems, the deployment of over 3,000 bespoke correlation rules, and alignment with recognised standards such as the Essential Eight and Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). All client data remains within Australia, stored in locally operated facilities, to satisfy local regulatory and privacy requirements.

Alan Kepper, CEO of Lumenir, outlined the company's direction with its digital relaunch.

"Our goal has always been to make elite cybersecurity accessible, transparent, and aligned with the real needs of Australian companies. With this website launch, we're doubling down on that mission. We want to give decision-makers the clarity and confidence they need — whether they're in a hospital, a university, or an energy network."

The operational model is supported through partnerships with Fortinet for technology and Wavelink as the exclusive national distributor. This approach aims to give Australian organisations integrated solutions and firm channel support, while still maintaining control over data and visibility into emerging threats. The partnerships are foundational to the advice, technical support, and integration capabilities available to customers.

The new website has been designed to reflect this ecosystem. It provides resources for information technology leaders, sector-specific risk analysis, a return-on-investment calculator, and a portal for scheduling demonstrations. The site functions as both a sales channel and an informaton source, constructed to enable organisations to evaluate their own cyber risk and the potential returns of proactive threat management.

As cybercrime incidences increase and operational resilience becomes a matter for executive management, Lumenir plans to pursue a strategy focused on business expansion, additional automation, and further integration within key industries throughout 2025. Its updated online presence is described by the company as "a confident step into full national activation", underpinned by established technology platforms, industry partnerships, and customer results.
