ADLINK has unveiled its new AmITX Mini-ITX motherboard series, designed to support edge AI and IoT applications with energy-efficient and high-performance capabilities.
The AmITX series offers flexibility in performance options by supporting Intel processors, including the 14th, 13th, and 12th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 and the low-power Intel N97. These processors cater to a wide range of applications, from smart cities to smart manufacturing and smart medicine. Features such as PCIe 5.0 x16, DDR5, and 2.5GbE PoE deliver enhanced speed for high-performance applications.
The motherboards include a versatile suite of I/O options such as RS-232/422/485, USB 3.2 Gen2, and M.2 slots, allowing easy integration with other systems. This design makes the AmITX series well-suited for a variety of industrial uses. The AmITX-RL-I model, supporting Intel Core processors up to 65W TDP and offering up to 64GB of DDR5 4800 MHz memory, is equipped with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot suitable for GPU cards.
Meanwhile, the AmITX-ALN model features an Intel N97 processor, supports up to 32GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory, and includes a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. It offers an ultra-low-power option with a 12W power consumption requirement.
ADLINK has committed to advancing next-generation connectivity, highlighting the recent launch of the 14th Gen Intel processors as part of its effort to keep pace with emergent technology.
A spokesperson for ADLINK stated, "ADLINK is dedicated to expanding next-generation connectivity—including DDR5, PCIe 5.0, and 2.5GbE—across our entire industrial motherboard portfolio, especially with the recent launch of the 14th Gen Intel processors. In today's competitive landscape, having the latest technology is essential for our customers to thrive."
They continued, "These new advancements empower them to rapidly innovate and confidently develop novel edge AI solutions while benefiting from ADLINK's exceptional support. Our comprehensive range of solutions, including the latest AmITX Mini-ITX motherboards, are all designed to accelerate project development and deployment."
The AmITX series aims to deliver high-performance and ultra-low-power computing options along with fast communication interfaces. The series also integrates native I/O interfaces and maintains compatibility with ADLINK's pre-validated motion and vision cards, thereby reducing system integration complexities and speeding up deployment.
